In this captivating short story collection, Son of Zezuru, Tawanda Chitsinde crafts a series of tales inspired by his own unique life journey. Touching on religion, politics, and day-to-day life, his fiction blends meticulous research with rich personal experience. Having worked as a rapper, artist, songwriter, clothing designer, writer, legal consultant and businessman, Chitsinde’s vast field of knowledge infuses each tale with raw authenticity.
Raised on traditional Shona beliefs and educated in traditional Christian schools, Chitsinde also explored Buddhism before finally settling on a path of religious non-affiliation. Zimbabwean born and raised, the political and economic whirlwinds that have marked his past and shaped his future now frame the view of societal norms shown in each of these stories. At times controversial, Chitsinde’s unconventional perspectives reveal new shades of enlightenment for his readers.
About the Author
Passionate about books and writing from a young age. he has written a number of blog pieces and magazine articles over the years. He currently lives in Zimbabwe with his beautiful wife, Kundai.
